Multi-Reels are so intuitive that anyone who picks one up can use it without thinking.

  • When you first load your hose or cable; line up the gaps and click it in.
  • To release, just anchor one end of your hose/cord, hold onto the large handle, and walk away.
  • If the plug or head of your lead feels a little snug going through the inner circle, just push it gently through to the back. It won’t affect the performance of your Multi-Reel.
  • The stiffer the cable, the slower you should wind. Keep a steady pace—racing the wind can cause the layers to loosen and overlap, which makes it harder to pull out later.
  • Don’t overload your Multi-Reel. If your hose or cable feels jammed, it may be a sign you need a larger size. It’s best to leave a small gap around the outer edge so nothing rubs against the shell while winding in or drawing out.

  • Multi-Reels of the same size are designed to stack together front-to-front. Line up one winder handle into the petal opening of the other unit, and the opposite handle will click into place.
  • Once aligned, you can strap the pair by threading a tie or strap through the core and around both reels. This gives your cables or hoses extra protection—basically armor-plated with the outer shells—while you’re on the move.
